DESCRIPTION:In 2015 Victor Julien presented Suricata at NLUUG. A lot has ha
 ppened since then\, both in the project and in the world.\n\nSuricata is a
  widely used open source (GPLv2) network security engine\, mostly used as 
 an IDS and IPS.\n\nThis talk go over the improvements in Suricata in the l
 ast 10 years and how network security remains critically important. It wil
 l cover new deployment and integration methods for Suricata like the firew
 all mode and the Suricata as a library effort. \n\nThe talk will also go i
 nto the challenges of running a Open Source project in an independent orga
 nization (OISF) and hopes to have some feedback on the future of open sour
 ce projects like Suricata in a world that is getting more complex.
